Your spouse is home alone. Your on your way home but wont arrive for another 30-45 minutes. A friend stops by your home unexpected/expected. Your friend asks your spouse if they can sit and wait for you. Would it bother you when you arrive to see your spouse entertaining your friend while you’re not at home? Do you trust your friend(s) to be alone with your spouse?

It's not aout trust. It's about right and wrong. A respecting man would not put himself in this position and a real friend would not test your husband. If she comes to see (you) and you are not there why would she have to waite??? If she has to waite her house and your house is the same waite no matter what so her waiting at your house has little to do with you. Check it before it gets out of your hands.

Yes, I would expect my husband to entertain a friend who was waiting for me and I would trust him. If you cannot trust your spouse, I would try to figure out why. Has he had bad conduct in situations like this before? Of course there are limits. The friend should be entertained only in the living room or deck, patio, or yard. If someone came early for my husband and he was not there and the visitor was seductive by my evaluation or past experience, I would give him a magazine or turn on the TV and then retreat to the back of the house or go outside for awhile.

This would not bother me. I do not keep people I so not trust as friends. And if I could not trust my man then the relationship would be over and he would be gone. You need to look inside yourself and see why you feel this way. Has the friend made a move on you or someone elses man in the past or is your man at fault for such a transgression?

Sounds to me like there could be problems in these relationships already for you to be asking this question.

I was in a relationship once and it was arranged that I would be away overnight at a business meeting. It so happened that the work got cleared up early, so I headed home that evening. When I got there, I found my boyfriend with my best friend. Needless to say I lost both that night.

Tough luck you say, but I remembering having thoughts similar to yours periodically. There must be a reason that you are asking the question.

Thats all on you. If there is trust in the relationship, in terms of your friend and spouse, it shouldnt bother you at all. It takes two to tango,if you suspect one of them, or both, to lead you to believe to suspect something, then somethings not right with your choice of the spouse or friend, or both!

Do you trust your spouse? Even if your friends were not trustworthy it is really your spouse that would choose to say no or yes to being unfaithful.

If you don't trust your spouse you need to take a closer look at your relationship. If you don't trust your friends...well you need to get new friends.

depends on the friend and spouse. I, myself, personally, trust my boyfriend completely. My friends? Not so much.

You should trust your spouse will honor your commitment. You should also trust your friend to respect your marriage. If you can't there are bigger issues there that you need to deal with.
