Skunks are very important to an ecosystem. Skunks often consume insects, thus keeping the insect population down to what is healthy for the environment. Also, they help control rodent populations. So the next time you realize that you are not covered in pests, thank our friend the skunk.

You wanna be the the one that takes them all out? They have a pretty strong defense against getting wiped out. Other than that, I don’t see why they still exist.
