Hi,
You installed an English version of XP so it is obvious that you wanted it in English and you are having difficulty using a German keyboard because you are used to an English keyboard (QWERTY). So the best solution for you is buy yourself a new keyboard!

You will probably have to download the software for the keyboard from the website of the company that makes your keyboard. And select English as the language you are using when you are installing the software.

i don't know the setuation comletely but for now i think either it is coused by the operating system you need to put all you data in a safe place out side your hard drive (may be an external hard drive ) and make F disk and format again and intall a fresh version of windows the second possible reason is the hard drive or Ram but i think the OS is the reason GOOD LUCK
