It all depends on the reason. Before that person would stay with me, we'd have to work out what is expected ahead of time, such as, if my relative couldn't afford to contribute monetarily, that person could do a share of the housework and cooking. Also, rules of the house would be discussed. No parties in my house and no drugs, etc. Also, a time limit would have to be worked out as it would only be temporary.

I am single, and if a relative of mine needed a place to stay we'd discuss why. If it was life or death, I'd want to know why and then decide the best course of action for us both.
