Well, technically being suspended indefinitely means that you are suspended until further notice. So the league can suspend you and then think about when it wants to let you come back.
Of course, in wrestling this is part of a story line. Vince McMahon suspending Ashley on Smackdown means the WWE is getting Ashley out of the ring for a while for its own reasons. A wrestler might be "suspended indefinitely" in the story line for the following reasons:
-The wrestler is injured
-The wrestler is leaving for good (contract up, retired, fired, etc.)
-The wrestler is granted leave to work on other projects or take a vacation (like when The Rock went to start filming movies)
-Or it might just be purely for the sake of the story line.

It means suspended until an apporpriate punishment can be determined. Could be two matches could be his whole life, all depends on the people making that decision in this case Vince McMahon.

In the wrestling world that means her contract is up and they are fighting over a new one, the wrestler has other commitments to deal with so they can't travel all over the place, or a medical issue (pregnant, injury, etc). They also go and wrestle in other countries, that could be it too. Don't worry, she will be back.
