Visitation is a separate entity from all other factors in a family situation. Depending on which state you are in you can file a rule to show cause and have his visitation curtailed to be with supervision.

Absolutely, you had better let them visit him before he goes to prison. Never talk bad about your childrens absent parent, they love them and will only be upset with you for putting down their mom/dad. Let them come to their own conclusions. As long as it is safe you should let them go. If it is not no matter how much you hate them, let them come over and visit outside or in another room. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for.

Yes, but you, as the mother needs to make sure that he has no way of getting a hold of their checks. Have them direct deposited into an account set up with your name and their names only.

If he has a valid visitation order from the court the answer is yes.

A judge would have to make that call.

My guess, though, is that he would be entitled to visits, as long as the harm he caused was financial and not physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
