The Renaissance is nearby you can call them at 216-696-5600
The Marriott Cleveland Key Center is in Public Square a short walk to the ballpark. Their number is 216-696-9200
The Crowne Plaza is also near Public Square, their number is 216-771-7600
I've stayed in downtown Cleveland before and I've also walked from Public Square to the ballpark and back (to catch a bus to Lakewood where we parked).
The Radisson Gateway is your best bet, it is unfortunate they are booked because they're right across the street and the Winking Lizard is nearby as well.

All downtown Cleveland are within walking distance of Jacobs Field. The Ritz, Renaissance, Marriot and Hyatt on Public Square are certainly close, but a little pricey. The best subsitutes for the Radisson in terms of price and location would be the Holiday Inn Express or Residence Inn. Both are very near the stadium and popular intersection of Prospect and Huron before and after baseball games. Also a block away is East Fourth, which is also a phenomenal revitalized street with several restaurants, the House of Blues, a new trendy bowling alley called Corner Alley, and a fine comedy club and restaurant called Picwick and Frolic's. If the Holiday Inn Express and Residence Inn are booked up I'd recommend the Hampton Inn or Hilton Garden Inn - both are certainly within walking distance of the Jake, it's just that the other two are little bit more in the heart of downtown directly in the midst of more entertainment and activity.
