I have no free PCI slots, is there another way to add a firewire port?

if you have high speed internet then check if you computer came with a dial up modem. if so then remove it and vuah lah

Not really...you need a free PCI slot.

You may need to consider other options...either removing a PCI add-in, or updating your mobo to one that comes with a firewire, or more PCI slots.

Almost all desktop Pcs have PCI expansion slots..you can go buy a firewire card and install it

If one of your slots is taken by a USB card, get a USB/Firewire combo card. http://sewelldirect.com/combocard.asp

Or find something you can live without, and get a firewire card.
