Yes, they can. Whether it is just a rain storm or it is a hurricane or tropical storm, they can last a very long time! Think about how long Katrina lasted.

A thunderstorm, no. Thunderstorms last only a few hours at best. A tropical revolving storm (hurricane/typhoon/tropical cyclone) can last for weeks under certain circumstances. Tropical cyclone "Justin" lasted about three weeks in the Coral Sea in 1997 before crossing the Queensland coast. If the storm remains at sea it can last long time but once it crosses the coast its fuel supply is cut off and it quickly dies unless it moves over the ocean again.

A hurricane seems the most likely to last that long. Cyclones and anticyclones very likely wouldn't last that long. The longest a thunderstorm can last at maximum is probably around 15-20 hours with derechos and very strong supercells.
