im on birth control...this is my first month....im on the second week...i take it within the same hour everyday except this morning i forgot to take it so i wont be taking it til 5 hours later then i normally do ...what do i do? do i keep takin my birth control on the normal timing or do i have to restart? what do i do?

You don't have to worry and start over again,just take the pill, even if it's 5 hours later and continue tomorrow morning like usual. Make sure that you do take care of taking your birth control on time. I would advise that if you are sexually active to use double protection for the first month, just to be sure. After that and having your first period,you are save, as long as you don't forget you pill, especially the first 10 days of each strip are fragile and you better use double when you forget one, taking it later won't hurt. I've done that many time, when working irregular schedules and haven't been pregnant and have done that for more than a year.

If your only 5 hours off just take your pill and continue your previous schedule the next day. Should be no problem. Also read you info packet that comes with the pills

Just take it as soon as you can get to them, then take the next one normally at the same time you usually do.
If you are worried about being protected and are sexually active have him wear condoms for that week.

take it as soon as you get home. it's best to take it at the same time every day but that isn't always going to be possible. a few hours won't alter the effectiveness of the pill. tommorrow take your pill at your regular time.
