Maybe if we eat the losers we can legalize animal fighting. Not a very tasty thought imho tho

Watching animals as a sport is cruel. After the animals kill eachother they are thrown away. Killing an animal for food is one thing but for sport is just animal abuse.

Animal fighting is considered inhumane because it causes injury and suffering. When we kill an animal for food, it is done fast to minimize the suffering of the animal.

Because it is barbaric to do so.It sends wrong messages to the young ones.
But again everyone in this world has the right to survive.
Lions kill dears to stay alive.It also preserves the ecology.
The animals we kill to eat is done in a way in which there is no pain inflicted.

Hmmmm the only part of this question that would make any sense would be if a chicken were involved. No other animals that I know of are raised for fighting that I would eat.

In the one situation animals are killed to provide nutrition for us people....in the other animals are killed for no other reason than a bunch hicks enjoying watching a critter get torn to shreds, only to shoot the loser in the head, then throw them in hole..... not saying you dont have a point at all....but not even a close comparison

because the original intention of hunting was to provide food and other useful materials. though that isn't the focus in all cases anymore, it is still one of the reasons. hunting also helps with overpopulation of animals.
i do respect the thought by some that hunting is wrong...but just because it is done doesn't mean that we should also allow dog fighting (as an example).

They call it animal cruelty because they force the animals to fight each other to the death. The animals we eat die a quick and painless death.
