Clutches are usually layed over the course of about 24 hours. If this single egg has not made progress for 12 hours or more then I would be concerned. In the event that you cannot contact a competent reptile vet promptly then piercing the visible part of the egg enough that the contents drain (externally to her body) will help her pass it. You will be sacrificing the egg, obviously but it may save your female.
