Although I have to say they get carried away a little bit. One time I had a guy tell me he could "play with my hair for hours" at which my response was "no 45 minutes is long enough"

I don't think it matters what sexuality or ethnicity you are. I have had good haircuts from all types of people. My current barber is straight, in his late 50's and has been cutting hair for 30+ years or so. Best barber I have ever had. I think what really makes a good hairstylest or barber is the amount of training and years in the business they have logged. And whether or not they enjoy what they do.

My Chinese-American straight (and quite the hottie) stylist does amazing work. I think female straight stylists do the worst job because they are your competition when it comes to men! They oon't really WANT you to look too good, because that makes you more marketable and visually appealing. That's my thought anyway.

Back some 20 yrs or so I had a stylist... best cuts I have EVER had. Queer as a 3$ bill but MAN could that guy cut hair. Were he still alive and in the business, I'd go out of my way to have him cut my hair again... and again... and again...
