Tell a school counselor of your concerns and they (trained professional) can speak with her and ask her the right questions to get the answers... Good luck and God bless****

All I have to say is that 99% of the time people will tell you nothing is wrong. Look for other signs like depression and always wanting to be away from the house and in another room then the person doing the abusing. Tell her that you are her friend and that you just wanna help if something is wrong. Maybe give her a local support line phone number and leave it to her to make the move. Whatever you do, DONT write a letter about it, her mom could find it and it'll make things worse. Talk to her outside the home also, somewhere like the park or at the beach(if you live near one), go somewhere calming and off to it's self, get her comfortable first before asking questions.

All you can do is be there for her. Even if she doesn't want to talk just let her know that you are always there for her. You could also go and talk to your counsilor about it. They might be able to talk to her. I wish you the best of luck. Just be there and have an open mind when she does want to talk.

The only thing you can do is to keep being her friend. Let her know that you are available for her to talk to. It will be up to her to do the rest. I wish the both of you the best of luck!

If your friend won't open up to you there's not much you can do if she is not physically abused.....just keep letting her know that you are there for her in case she decides that she wants to talk later.

i think you need to let her come over to you and start talking. she will spill out her feelings when shes ready. but just let her know that you are gonna be there when she needs to talk. mabey you should just try to make her lauph and not talk bout painful things like that. well good luck to the both of you!!

I think you should stay out of it, Unless you think she is in danger, I know its hard but you dont want to make it worse, Just tell her you are always their for her if she needs you, day or night. Hope this helps,

Is there someone she can that she feels comfortable enough to confide in ???
If no one, see if she'll talk with your mom.

he trying, she will eventually, tell you how she feels, maybe you should just be patient. also if she is being verbally abused then it is taking a toll on her confidence so you should do something to help build it back up.

If you dont know anything then you cannot tell anyone. Leave it alone until you have your facts right.
