I remember when alot more Braves games were broadcast on TBS, close to all of them. What happened? They only show about 8-10 games a month now. And what about next season? Will they still be on TBS now that they've been sold?

After this season, TBS will relinquish its rights to show Braves games nationally. They will instead show some games only in the Southeast (outside of the Atlanta area) while WTBS - the local TBS affiliate in Atlanta - will take over the broadcast of Braves games locally. There's no indication yet how many they'll broadcast locally, but my guess is that it will be the majority of games.

TBS will also show a game of the week next season, along with the divisional playoffs and championship series in certain years.

I hope it doesn't. Growing up no matter where you are in the nation you could always be a Braves fan. I've met a lot of people from states without teams that grew up Braves' fans.

You're right, they are showing a lot less games already. I didn't hear about TBS being a part of the deal, so its possible this will be the last year I get to watch these guys without signing up for Extra Innings on Comcast.
