yeh it hurts. DONT get it done at claires! get it done at a professional tattoo shop. if you get it at claires there could be serious risks. you have to be over 18 if you don’t have your parents permission. bully button piercings get infected VERY easily. i would suggest waiting until you turn 18.

I had it done and it only pinched when they put the clamp on to make sure the piercing is straight.. Then it stung for a second when he cleaned it.
Otherwise no It doesn't hurt if it's done right. It hurt more to have my ears pierced.
Just make sure you go to a place that only does body piercing and tattoos, and is very sterile and clean. Don't risk an infection.
Once it is pierced keep it clean with anti biotic soap, not alcohol, it will heal faster and with no pain unless of course you sleep on your tummy or get something caught on the stud.
Mine healed in a couple of weeks but everyone is different.
Regarding your age I don't know about where you live but here, you need to either be 18 or have a parents written consent and they need to be with you to give that consent in front of the person doing the piercing.

Yea you have to be at least 18 years old, unless your parent brings you, with your birth certificate, and your parent has to have ID.
I dont think Claire's does naval piercings, get it done at a tattoo shop
The pain initially is like a pinch, after wards (like 30min-time it heals) it feels like a punch in the stomach. I dont recommend getting it pierced, mine fell out after about 9 months (it still had not healed). And when I say fell out, i mean like the ring eventually pushed itself outward and left a vertical scar that turned into a nasty keloid. If you still want one, wait until you are 18, so you can make a good decision.

1.getting it pierced did not hurt. It is the irrittation afterwards from rubbing on clothes and seat belts that is more painful but not unbearable.
2. Under 18 you will need your parents permission.
3. No Claire's will not do it. You will need to go to a tatoo place most likely.

you have to be 18 or older to get it, or have parental consent.
At first, it does hurt because the needle goes in first, and then they shove the barbell through the hole with the needle.
I got mine done 2 weeks ago and i still cannot go swimming.
You cannot change it for atleast a month, and to completely avoid the risk of infection, you shouldn't change it for 6 months.
Oh, and don't get it done at claires, that is the worst possible place.

It feels kind of odd like if someone pokes you in the belly button too hard. But it hurts worse once it starts healing. You have to twist it to break the scab. It's kind of gross. Also keep it really really clean. You should go to a tattoo and piercing parlor to get it done. I took mine out years ago and the hole closed, but my sister still has hers.
