im going to buy a laptop for the summer and i want to but a custom built one...and im going to using it mostly for gaming...can anyone suggest some decent video cards..
i was looking at the nvidia 8600m GS and 7600 go .....not sure if thos are good enuff
...and wat are some ati cards that are up to par with 8600?

well it does not matter if its good enough b/c the 8600 is the best card u can put in a laptop. A laptop is NOT for gaming, get a desktop to game, and get a light laptop to bring around. but neways i think the only ati card that compares to the 8600 is the x1650 which is not as good.

If you interested, I custom build laptops with up to 2 nVidia 7850GTX video cards in SLI, DDR2 800 ram, SATA 3.0 hard drives, Up to Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme X6800, and the video cards are MXM IV, and it will be upgradeable to nVidia 8800GTX once released.

Bear in mind laptops do not use standard video cards, so you will have to see what the manufdacturer you opt for can do.
Most have only 1 or 2 options for video cards.
And whatever you pick, you are stuck with, can't generally upgrade it later
