Drivers for a Gateway notebook?

I have a Gateway notebook and I want to reinstall Windows on it. I am not sure if i need any drivers (like for sound, video board) after the installation is complete. I have 4 cds for Recovery but i have no idea how can i use them. So do i need drivers and where can i get them from? Can the recovery cds help me?

the recovery cds restore he computer 2 wat it was like the 1st time u got it, with drivers ,but also all the crapware that came with it.

Go to the official page of the manufacturer. Under support/download you'll find the necessary drivers/manuals. This usually works
