To change the name in the documents (and in all Office applications), open up Word, go to Tools --> Options, and click the User Information tab. Change the name and initials to your own and that will take care of the documents part.

Changing the name for the computer requires going into the Registry. The link below goes to a Microsoft Knowledge Base article that explains how; it's pretty easy. Just make sure you're comfortable with working in the Registry, and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Your best bet is to re-install windows using the original disc that came with it and reformat the hard drive. This way you will be safe from any viruses that are living on it.

if you are using windows xp find the control panel then click user accounts pick a task either change the name or create an account.

well u would have to create a new account, but u cannot change who the copy of windows is registered to unless u reinstall windows.

Backup your data on another drive and reinstall windows... If you don't know how, google it and you'll find plenty of resources....
