my brother and my ferst boyfriend. wahh~ why does it hurt so bad to admit that..?? ♥ id rather have been shot then have whut either of them did to me *sigh* {i never stop loving them tho, i hope the best for them but i cent let them hurt me by staying in my life}

When something hurts me to the core, I leave for good.
There are cases that I have given up on someone who fell ill and I had to be there. Well, I was.. but I offered what anyone would and not what I would offer as the friend I used to be.

I am not as kind as you - when I give up on someone (and I have) it is for long or for good, sometimes both. I will keep this in mind (your perspective) in reflection and do some "soul" searching on this matter. I can do better I realize. I can hear your advice coming back at me now. (lol).

No.... I have to let go sometimes for their good and perhaps for mine. But I never give up on someone. I always figure if someone wants to find me and come back around and let life be fun and natural as it should be..... I am more than willing. I never ever fully give up on anybody.

I will always be there for my friends if they need me, but I have let people walk out of my life if they don't want to be a part of it. In a way, I guess that is giving up on them. I'm always there, though, and I let them know that.

Sometimes I would like too but then I reconsider because it is not the right thing to do. As long as somebody keeps trying , I will not give up on them .

Probably a half-dozen times over the course of my adult life. I regret most of them. I like your approach much better and I think I'm gonna try to emulate it going forward.
