When your life ends. It ends. It doesn't matter if you've done everything you've wanted or reached some potential you've been trying to reach. You lived your life and just make peace with the way you lived and enjoy your last 2 minutes on earth.

You can never truly know if you have fulfilled your potential as a person since it is usually reflected in the way people see you. THis includes people you have known for a lifetime and those who you have known for a short time.
Id like to think that my best possible understanding of this judgement would come from my best friend who has seen good, bad and ugly aspects of my personality but still see's me through it.

no where near my potential.... Thinknig what a waste...lol
It's hard to label a person as a failure or a success, cause you would have to compare thier life to what you define as success and failure, vs. what everyone else defines as success or failure.
In my book, success was to make alot of mony and buy a home and cars and be with beautiful women... but now after achiveing all that, I realize, that a family that is devoted to eachother is wayyyy more important.
Now my goal is to squeeze the juice out of life and enjoy it with my family and friends!

I would judge my own success by:
how many of my goals I had ATTEMPTED to accomplish..not how many I actually did accomplish.
What I did for others..Did I put myself before others? Was I selfish? Did I help those in need?
Not how many people liked me, but WHY the people that liked me did..
Not a tremendous answer..but somewhat along the lines of what I'm thinking

With only two minutes, I doubt I would be contemplating my failures and successes. It is a bit too late for that. With only 2 minutes, I'd be calling my girls, telling them I love them....and therein lies my fulfillment and purpose in life... to love my children.

I have felt that since my wife passed 10 years ago today.
I am at peace with my life- accepting that it may end at any time. I choose to live a full life with integrity, and love.
There is no faliure- even in people who think they have failed. They lived life- that is a great success!

I'd sit down, accept my end and not give a hoot about any kind of analysis as to whether I'd fulfilled my potential. I'm gonna die in 2 minutes!

I don't judge myself. At least, I have taken many steps over the years to stop that process. If you judge yourself, you are likely not feeling very good about yourself from moment to moment.

It is inevitably will happen to all of us, isn't it?Why bother to deliberate that two minutes while there is still plenty of time to live life sufficiently for yourself and for others?

No matter what I had done or accomplished up to that point knowing myself I would probably wonder what I could of done better in my life.
