Babe, I haven't a clue. Who on God's green earth was Sherwood Schwartz? So, I scrolled up. Was he connected with Gilligan's Island. To be brutally honest with you, I never found that show funny or interesting. I liked Bob Denver as Maynard G. Krebs, but I was younger then, and he was a hip dude with bongo drums and a beard. It is like when I discuss the Brady Bunch with my wife. She grew up watching the show. I already was grown up and serving in the Marine Corps. e-mail me. Who was he?

I always hated the Brady Bunch Kids.....I guess Gilligan..he was always duping the Captain unintentionally..and btw..if the Minnow was on a 3 hour tour, how come the millionaire and his wife had all that luggage. Seems like they had all this crap with them on the Island..Lastly, Marianne not Ginger!!! yowsa..

I remember the Red Skelton Shop (The Christmas Specials with the 'Bum'). I had a crush on Barbara Eden in 'Harper Valley PTC'. But I look like the 'skipper', think like the 'professor' drink like Mr. Howell (III), and act like ......what was his name again? Oh, yeah Gilligan.

How about "My Favorite Martian?". I'm a sucker for Gilligan's Island and saw all of the original series as well as the post Island series like Rescue from Gilligans Island, and loved it when Disney brought back My Favorite Martian as a movie.

Maybe Maynard G. Krebs, but not really!
I've never thought of my family as an average middle class American family probably because we weren't! Krebs was more dysfunctional and I could identify more that Dobie!
