Are they looking for him? If he files taxes they will find him.

There are web sites now that you can post pictures of dead beat parents. Google dead beat parents or dead beat dads.

When they find him, he will be made to pay back support. Depending on where you live, they may take away his license or even throw him in jail.

Good luck, I hope you find him soon.

As long as your registered with the family courts they will track him down. You need to supply the courts and police with information to where he works, lives. You don't need a lawyer when appearing in front of a judge for spousal support. The courts have legal aid lawyers whom will present you for free. The more you "hound" the police when having a order from the judge for support issues, they will take action quicker. There are a lot of dead beat dad's out there and they need to be made to pay support for their children. It is their responsibility to do so. Cocoa

They will catch him as soon as he gets a legitimate job and uses his social security number. What is called a wage assessment will automatically be generated, and they will start taking his money from his check through garnishment. But if he works under the table, it will be much harder to catch him. Eventually they will though. He can run, but he can't hide!

Have you turned him in for not paying? The court could order his wages garnished, but if he is getting paid under the table, then he could say he is unemployed, but the court could order him to go to jail and serve time for not paying child support.

The best advice I can give you is don't count on it and figure out how to make it work on your own. The time & energy you will spend worrying and trying to legally make him pay is better spent working a second job.
