You know, like when you are staying at a hotel and you swipe the card to get into the room.
I want one of those for my room, where can I get one? I live in the UK.

Go to a locksmith that advertises "All your security needs" A swipe card stand alone unit (no wiring to a central computer) will cost $450-600 and you will have to have a programming box attached to your computer which is probably another $800 unless the dealer will make them for you.
Mechanical push button door locks with combinations are $300.

Fill up your wallet and contact a locksmith. These are computer controlled and a "one lock" system will probably be be very expensive, if even available.

A locksmith or an alarm company can get it for you. Be prepared- it will cost a LOT of money!
