ill tell you what the m's are just starting to hit their stride and they are playing excellent ball. their only weakness is still the pitching staff but the bull pen is really comming on now. the m's are the best hitting team in baseball right now and the best with risp, the best with 2 out and risp. the only team in the majors with 5 count em 5 players hitting over 300. ive said it all along the m's will be there in the end and ichiro is not going anywhere. he will get a huge signing bonus and will sign multi year with seattle... he has stated many times in the press that he loves seattle but really wants to play in a world series or 2. that could happen in seattle and i think that they will do whatever they have to to keep him. watch out for the m's they are startin to do some serious butt kickin.

I believe most fans would agree that the Mariners are a surprise this year and well deserved at 6 games over .500 and challenging for the division lead. However, I believe you have to give the nod to the Indians who are in first place at 13 games over .500 and in a much more difficult division with Detroit, Chicago, and Minnesota. Both Seattle and Cleveland finished last year with exactly the same record at 6 games under .500. The Brewers are doing well this year but they are not a surprise since many expected them to be where they are.

They are one of the best surprise teams this year but we still have a lot of season left. Cleveland and the Brewers are obviously the best of the surprise teams. Even the Rockies at only one game below .500 are a big surprise. I always expect big things out of the Mariners but the past few years they have been burned in free agency and with injuries to key players. I don't expect them to catch the Angels - but then again its a long season.....

Mariners are a surprise, yes. The Brewers are, too. But my vote goes to the D-backs.

say what the Brewers were doing great last yr it isnt a suprise in what they brought in... they did really good before the All star break and ther barley above 500 now it was a suprise tho they did go 24-10...!!!
JJ Hardy will not keep it up!!! and they can find alot better than Correy Hart in RF
