It is found everywhere it is not banned. It is a cheap and effective flavor enhancer derived from molasses used in a variety of foods. Chinese restaurants list it on the menu as an additive that can be either deleted or "we never use MSG".

It is found in virtually every country and if you don't think it is bad for you go to msgtruth.org I believe that is the website. That website will really open your eyes. Anyway it is found virtually everywhere but is extremely prevelant in China and the U.S.
