well if u dont want it for all that stuf y do u want broadband, i though that was the point so u can do more. But neways if u want broadband check out DSL from ur phone company like Verizon, its normally the cheapest. But by the way u put iti would suggest dial -up if u dont need to use it a lot.

If you live in the U.S. stop by any Best Buy and they have several options for broadband internet. One of the best deals is through AT&T because it's month-to-month (no yearly contract) and you get the equipment at a discounted rate through the store and usually a Best Buy gift card or rebate as well just for signing up through them. :)

bt are doing 8mb broadband here which is very fast at only £8.95 a month but it is a 18month contract
