i am in a relationship that has never been ideal or good, my man was incarcerated for awhile and has been out for about 5 months we don't really get along there is no spark there , he has hurt me ALOT in the past and is very insucure., but we have a son together ... i love him , but not sure i am in love with him, do not want to hurt him either...... i am stuck what to do ....

If he's hurt you alot and there's no spark, I dont think you should doom yourself to a life of suffering. you only have one life and you deserve to find happiness!

It sounds to me that you know what needs to be done. This guy has hurt you in the past and has been in prison. Get full custody of the kid which should not be a problem with him being an ex-con and get on with your life. This guy will never change the only thing that may change is him going back to jail for killing you.
I say this because it is common knowledge that alot of controlling abusive men will end up putting there mates in hospital or six feet under over time. You alreadyhave a ex-con in your life so he has no respect for the law to begin with.

Get over it, so you have a son together if you don't love him it's time to move on with your life. He has hurt you in the past, and may do it again if you let him. Time to think about you and your son. Just because you have a son together doesn't mean you need to stay together.

Well first off, if your not in love with him, find someone else, you can fal in love with not only love him. Explain to him that you're not in love with him anymore and that you love him but he has hurt you too many times in the past. I beilieve it's your decision for what to do because it's your life. If you really want to stay in the relationship only for the child it's not a good idea. Just do custidy of the child and divorce him if you two are married.

Wasting your life on someone you are not in love with is not the answer. As far as your son is concerned don't you think he realizes an unhappy mom? If your man was in jail for a while it sounds like you have done fine on your own. You will make it!

Your son comes first. What kind of environment do you want for him?
Get the heck out of where you are. Find a good decent man. Put your emotions aside and put your brain into gear.
Make decision based on facts and not emotions.

why would you love a man that treats you so bad.
Maybe you just like the idea that you love him. and you really do not.
suggest you find a man that treats you well.
You do want to be treated well don't you?
some people think they do not deserve to be treated well.
well no mattr what you do deserve to be treaed well.
so allow your self to be treated well.
you are not stuck. move on to someone that is happy and can
share his happiness with you and you share your new found happiness with him.

First of all, its hard to go with advice from a stranger that doesn't know the whole deal. But, if you are with him just because you don't want to hurt his feelings, you really shouldn't be with him. The two of you can ALWAYS remain friends. Just not romantically. You know the answer just stick with it. Good Luck. =)

you have to follow your heart on this one. think of your son do you think he's happy. the man is in and out of jail. this is hurting your son more than it is hurting you. and if he has hurt you before then it's time to move on and find someone that can acually take care of you and your son.
