I see a few obvious answers here already.

Everything in your tank will become electrical (dead) once you do that.

The electric eel uses chemical processes to produce a current, not to become a capacitor to a 220v surge.

Might as well toss some bleach in there while you are at it (if you think it will clean your tank too)

Why on earth would you ask such a question or even consider the thought?! Go look for answers in the self help catigory!!! That would be under "health" and then click "mental health".

If the fish is not grounded and simply suspended in the water no damage should occur. If however the fish touches anything at all in the tank it will certainly be killed.

Sure.
They are a living creature, just like me, and you.
They get there charge due, to there bodies making the charge, they are not "plugging in at night to recharge".
