when having side effects does it means the pill is working?

It means that it is effecting your body, but doesn't necessarily mean it's working properly. Side effects are pretty common with Clomid. I conceived 3 times on it. Some of the side effects I had were; irritability, night sweats, and slight weight gain. The one side effect you need to be concerned about is if it causes your ovaries to become hyper-stimulated. This is why you need to be monitored by a doctor while on it. If you are concerned about any side effects, discuss them with your doctor. The only way to know if Clomid is working is if you ovulate. You can either chart your daily basal body temperatures or use ovulation kits to monitor whether you are ovulating. Good luck.
