Did anyone else utilize hair spray as an ant incinerator when young?

I'm trying to remember the brand name, it sure cooked 'em.

WD-40 worked good, too.

My son and his friends use to. They use to light their farts too !!!!!! When they got older they would light their vodka breath !!!!! lol

Of course. I even used to apply it my denim jeans and jackets and set them on fire while I wore them. (note, only works on jeans without tears or holes worn in them.) The denim does not burn and only get a little warm. The fire goes out as soon as the hair spray is used up.

I used WD-40 to eliminate bee and wasp nests. Great flamethrower.

I admit I was young and more than a little stupid at the time.

Aqua Net aerosol hair spray, in a giant can, is what we used. Never did ants. In the Southeast we have big flying roaches, called Palmetto Bugs. I roasted many a Palmetto Bug with a can of Aqua Net and a lighter....effective flame thrower.

We used Aquanet to melt barbie dolls in the middle of the street. There is still black rubber stuck to the street 15 years later!

One of my brothers, but he done it to spiders. He also used to take the legs off spiders, one by one and watch them try to run. Now he goes wild if he sees anyone try to kill a spider. He catches them and takes them outside. The guilt caught up!

I never did...but I bet the hairspray you used was Aqua Net.

rave hairspray seemed to work the best. Great for fires too.

no , dude but me and my friends used a deodorant to burn a lizard in our hostel. i guess I'll try it on ants now.

i still do, works great on flies and fruit flies...I used aqua net in high school !
