In my life there couldn't be anything worse than losing my wife and kids. They are the reason I do what I do each and every day. Without them I would cease to exists.

What do you have in life more important than your family? If you lose these people, you have lost everything important--all you have left is losing your own soul. Live your life in a way so you wont have to worry about losing your loved ones.

There lived a song writer who lost his family in a ship wreck (this was a long time ago), after this terrible accident and loss, he wrote "It is Well with my Soul".

What makes you think that you have LOST them? Chances are your going through a divorce and while things may be the worst they have ever been in your life right now - nothing is LOST if you never give up fighting for it. Where you truely find loss is when you give up striving to acheive everything that you want, need and what makes you happy.

Never give up & never settle!

As far as I can see, that would be about the worst that could happen. People say losing your own life, that only hurts the ones left behind. My answer would be the only thing worse than that would be if it were my fault that they were gone. I didn't try hard enough, I didn't do enough, I would feel even worse if I was the one driving the car that took them from me.

Losing your soul.

Talk about the walking dead. wow.

No, I'm not stuffing religion down anyone's throat - but read the Old Testament book of Job. This guy lost it all - went through hell and back - but remained true to himself and to his God.
