The Tigers sure do have the hitting and there is no question about that. Their pitching staff is also one of the best in both leagues. I believe the Tigers are one of just a few teams that have what it takes to win it all this year without having to make a trade, provided they don't run into injury problems and Nate Robertson and Zumaya come back strong. There is a chance that Zumaya may have a real problem in which case they would have to look for a replacement.

They are actively trying to unload Shelton. With Rogers coming back soon, I feel the staff looks good. Zumaya should shore up the pen, but a mid-reliever could be a possibility. The bats rock, and they are deep. Maybe some younger talent... Mags for MVP, Sheff is hotter than hell right now.
