just want to know if there is any info that isn't generally available or that is really hard to find. I can't wait for the new episodes!

Shows was cancelled, I know that. It has been re-optioned for more episodes. I’ve heard they are writing a movie that will be broken down into ½ half shows. If anyone knows exactly when, plz let me know!

It's going to air on Comedy Central in 2008 after Adult Swim's rights to it expire. Adult Swim may renew the rights and start airing the new episodes too. Fox will not be airing Futurama again sadly.
Futurama is having four movies released, the first one called Bender's Big Score being released winter 07. The new episodes will just be merely broken down bits of the movies in episode length. The 16 episodes will be shown in 2008 after all the movies are released.
Bender's Big Score is set to have the main characters from the show to appear along with Al Gore potraying himself, Fry's Dead Dog seymour from the series will return, and the God unit Bender met in space in the series will be returning.

What new episodes? I thought it was cancelled years ago...I hope they make some new ones. I love that show.

Due to the renewed success of Family guy FOX is looking at this show again.
