I bought a dishwasher ant will receive it tomorow (it's a frigidaire, basic model). Will it come with all the necessary pipes needed for installation or do I need to buy that at the hardware store?

It will come with a drain hose and mounting hardware, but your gonna need to supply a water line, and power cord to complete the installation... You can purchase these at any local hardware store, and are not that exspensive...

I would definitely get a dishwasher. It takes 5 to 6 minutes to load compared to on average 35 minutes manual washing. No need to pre wash dishes just scrape food off. Well worth it

Just disco what's already used for your current machine (fresh water line and drain hose). The new machine will have a drain hose included, so you are fine. Depending on the location of the fresh water conneciton, you may need to buy something for the line to reach the connection.

Turn off the power at the breaker box, bud.

You will need a threaded to compression elbow to hook up the water supply.(many do not come with these) Also need the material for the water supply. Depending on the type of electrical connection, you may need wire as some are not plug-in type. You will also need a dishwasher tee to place in the sink drainline (on the sink side of the trap). If you do not have an outlet on your hot water supply line to attach the water supply for the DW, you will need to get one. They sell double outlet valves for this.

It will come with everything. The hose it uses to drain will be attached to the garbage disposer. If the unit leaks or does not empty out, check to see if the plug is still in the disposal. If it is remove it, if not your ok and should have no problems.
