I heard that the cookie monster was going to be changed to the vegtable monster, to influence kids to be healthy. Is that true?
If they do that, why don't they cancell the show all together?

he is still the cookie monster but he can't gorge himself on cookies anymore. I think it is a load of crap. I watched the cookie monster and i didn't jam cookies down my throat. It is just another example of parents passing off blame to someone other than themselves

Don't know if he's doing it, but he's supposed to be eating veggies now, to show the kiddies that vegetables are our friends, or something like that. He still gobbles a cookie, though, but nothing like he used to be. That show is way too PC. What's the cookie monster without a sack full of cookies to devour!!! I haven't watched it in a bit (as my younger kids don't like it, thank God), but even Oscar is kinder and gentler. Boo!!!

They also supposedly got rid of Oscar the Grouch because it was offensive to homeless people. I havent seen the show recently to know if this is actually true. But if it is, that is also total crap.
