Practice, Practice, Practice! I used to be really bad at this game. I started on Easy, worked my way up to medium, then hard , and eventually expert. Now I beat the game on expert and my fretting hand is amazing. This won't happen overnight. EDIT: Oh, sorry , I thought you said guitar hero!

you can listen to metal songs and read tabs. then when you can play a song like.... like a slayer song not perfect but to were you can hear what your playing, you can go to guitar center and buy the finger weights. that should increase your speed after a lot of practice. also you have to learn how to manage your fingers so you don't get a finger caught behind the other.
always stretch your fingers before playing.

Play a lot, and train on getting faster.
You might look into alternatives for the more difficult cords, there are books with several different versions for each cord.
Play the same song over and over again, each time a little faster.

Practise really.
Get a song that is fast, then play it at a regular speed (a metronome may help) and then start again and pick up the pace.
Just practise all the time.

You should tap your fingers on the table or just continue practicing on a guitar.
