I know everyone gets their day in court.....but I as a used car dealer I have been sued over and over for the most RIDICULOUS things you have every heard of. This one tops it all. I sold a 1985 Corolla to this insane woman for $1650 over a year ago. Now she is suing me for $5000 because she never received her license sticker that I mailed to her. A replacement costs $6.30. How can people be so STUPID?

Countersue for harrassment, court costs, and slander. Offer a settlement of a replacement sticker and suit dropped. That should end the litigation quickly.

Just go to a coffee shop and burn your tongue on some coffee. You can probably get enough to pay her and have money left over. (Joking)
But, it is sad. I would tell the Judge you sent the sticker and if she did not receive it she should have contacted you sooner. It been over a year and probably not even legal anyway due to time limits to file charges.

Our court system is very messed up... It really makes me wonder though about courts in other countries, because apparently ours is the best in the world.

Yes

and most of the really bad judges are democrat appointees. I would like to see judges who would throw out some of these lawsuits and charge the plantiffs with contempt of court for even bringing them forth. A revision of the old saying about those who can't do teach, those who can't teach do research, and those who can do nothing become judges.

It is not the court system. It is the people instead. I doubt that she has a lawyer in the case you cite.
