Thanks Rosie you turned out to be most credible I checked the info at the library and you were right except for bill da pimp. You meant to say George da chimp was still in office

lol at tobocol. Dude I am not kidding. He was in a car crash and comatosed for 25 years. He was in the service so he was at a military hospital for 25 years in a coma until they finally pulled the plug. Most people can't afford to keep somebody on life support for that long but because he was a vet, the gov took care of him.

btw tobocal we were not that close as I was born after he was in a coma. I am not making light I just don't see what the big deal is about making a joke about being in coma. I actually think it would be great to wake up after being comatosed.

Why is everyone telling me to wake up. I have been up since 6 am and I am at work. What about you knuckleheads, why aren't you at work or school or somewhere.

Coma for fours years

come on Mr Bush
We all know better than that
You may have been in a cocaince induced haze, but I don't believe you were in a coma (otherwise we'd be much better off)

Wow, are u serious, you were really in a coma for 4 years?
No wmds found in Iraq, but North Korea has been testing some long-range missiles even though other countries tell them not to.
Bin Ladin hasn't been found, but Saddam Hussein was executed.
The same president is in office as was there 4 years ago, but its almost 2008 and we get a new president.
The troops are not home yet, actually they probably get to go home and then get called back to Iraq and Afghanistan. The troops that get injured are having a bad time, the bureaucracy that handles medical care for injured soldiers (physical and mental/emotional) is very ineffective.
Are the Iraqis better off now? I guess that depends on who you ask. I would say that they are better off, however the civil war that was predicted pretty much happened, but there are enough soldiers (mostly American) in Iraq to keep the violence down. Suicide bombers get involved with the violence all the time. Supposedly, Iraq is headed towards democracy and self-government, but it is taking a while. Hopefully, this goal is achieved.

One more thing since 4 years ago: Gas prices have sky-rocketed twice. Today gas prices are in the $3.50 range and there is a much more serious plan to use clean energy and other kinds of fuels for cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Electric, Hydrogen, Bio-diesel, ethanol, and especially hybrid-vehicles are around. Keep an eye on the discovery channel / Science channel.
Sorry to hear about your coma, but its good that you woke up from it. Hang tough, things are about the same as they were 4 years ago.

This is very offensive to anyone who has actually been in a coma or known anybody in a coma. We get it. You don't like President Bush. Just say so next time.

You say your Uncle was in a coma for 25 years. I say your full of ****. First if he was, you all of people should know not to make light of a terrible family tragedy just to push your political views. Furthermore, if he came out after 25 years, he would be fairly famous, as that is extremelly rare. The brain tends to die off after just a couple of years. The longest coma on record is 37 years, so 25 would get his name in the medical journals and wikipidia.

Your coma took place when you were in school, correct? No need to answer if it's embarassing. It's obvious from the tone of your question. Independant thought should be next on your post-coma educational agenda.
