Both Aristotle and Galen are considered to be "fathers" of biology. Both made early and significent discoveries. Kind of like both Newton and Leitzer discovered calculus separately at the same time, or both Steve Jobs (Apple) and Bill Gates (Microsoft) developed computer OS's at the same time.
