My son is playing travel hockey which is very expensive. Does anyone have any great fundraising ideas? He is allowed to do his own fundraising and get his own sponsors, it doesn't have to be done as a team. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I've been selling old, useless, dust-collecting stuff on eBay, trying to raise funds for university. Just things like DVDs, CDs, video games, music sheets, etc, etc. Hey, maybe you can even get rid of your son's outgrown hockey equipment too.

Tangerine,
I find this question very interesting. My son plays Soccer, and I am a cubscout leader; however, as much as I wish my son would play hockey - he really is not the hockey kid I was growing up. More importantly, I am starring this because although I cannot think of anything at the moment, I want to come back to this when something pops up in my mind. I also would like to review other responses you may later receive.

Best of luck to you and your son!

Candy is always my favorite fundraiser. Of course I am usually the one buying all of it though!
