If I pre-ordered Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will it arrive the day the book comes out or will it arrive later? Because if it will arrive later I'd rather go to a midnight opening....

You should get it the day of or the next day - depending on who you ordered it from and how they're shipping it. But you never know...
I can't remember which one it was (like #4 or #5 I think), but once our preordered HP got to us a day EARLY! Haha, yours probably won't, but fun story anyway... =)

I seem to recall a news article around the time they announced the release date in which they said that folks who ordered online would be getting the book the day it comes out. The publishers will ship the book so as to have it arrive at people's homes on that day.

Yes, it should arrive late that morning. My aunt preordered the last few Harry Potter books for me and they always arrived on the day the book was released.

You can usually claim your pre-ordered book the very day of the book release which is on July 21. The books are shipped to the stores in advance, and the stores keep it till the release date.

It better right.. Last harry potter book I waited in line at walmart.. this is the first time I pre-ordered a book Im psyched it is the last one.. I hope I get mine in on the day of to.. I think it will. That is why we pre-order them...

Amazon currently has an offer that IT WILL arrive on the 21st but probably later in the evening. so you won't get to stay up all Friday night reading it.

No, they'll SHIP it on the day it comes out. Which means you'll have to wait 3-5 business days.

It should do... But some book shops... in smaller towns and such, will have to wait longer...
It is probably better to ask the bookshop that you ordered it through...

i preordered the sixth HP and i received it on the day that it came out. i remember because i was suprised, i didnt think it would come until a few days later.
