can you share what you have done to prepare for your marrige mentally and physically? or sexually?

you can't prepare for marriage. There is nothing like it. One minute it is the single greatest joy in your life and the next the biggest mistake, disappointment in your life. Oh and then the next it is better that it was in the beginning.
Marriage is hard. very hard. You must brace your self for a very long and bumpy ride or you'll fall off. Marriage has its hard time but it also has the good times as well. When two people get married it is very hard. It is 2 people trying to take their totally different lives and combine them into one harmonious life.
It takes a while to get it working. It won't ever be what you had before. Your life starts all over. Remember that.
Don't expect anything to be the same. Its just not possible.
Mentally- be strong and be determined to make it work and to compromise.
Physically- eat the good stuff and stay healthy. Last night my husband and I were naked and I just started laughing. I told him- they need to take a picture of us and label it a "real man" and a "real woman". After 7 years of marriage, in our middle/late 30's we have definitely put on a little weight and let ourselves go some. We are not overweight or necessarily under-conditioned we are just "real". Its funny. I wish we had started out with a healthy diet. Sure would have made it easier.
Sexually- expect lulls and expect highs. Nothing beats being uninhibited sexually. Make sure your spouse feels totally sexy and comfortable with you.

If you are a man to mentally prepare join a weight watchers group. Now scrub the bathroom with your tooth brush. And finally sexually take a vow of celibacy.
If you are a woman to mentally prepare get a puppy and tie it legs together and then yell and scream at it until it takes out the garbage, cleans the house and make enough money to let you live the life you want. Then eat chocolate and wine 24/7 while not moving off the couch. And finally sexually scream at the puppy again for not being romantic.

Find a woman you hate more than anything and give her half of your stuff and your house. When you do it call her a b*tch and tell her how much you hate her. Don't forget to be completely engulfed in bitterness.
That's how you prepare for the end anyways.

Many churches have classes just for this, I wish they had them 30 years ago for me!!
