Rod? Why do you surround the word "indian" with a bunch of colours (black white indian red purple orange or green)? I think that is rod.

The classiest person I know is my Great-Uncle Bob, who never EVER tells a joke on other groups of people. If he hears a joke he thinks is funny, he changes it so that it is on a group that he is part of (old men, etc.) His theory is that it is much funnier to tell a joke on yourself than on other people, and I agree. I think it is rude, and ignorant and low-class, to make jokes and statements that rely on narrow stereotypes of other groups of people. For a great example of this, see Carlos Mencia (ARRGH! I wish he would get stuck on a desert island with Rush Limbaugh and they could just have a nasty-off for the rest of their miserable lives...) Anyway, obviously one of my pet peeves...

Why not !?

— It isn't "rod" or rude —

It is O.K. to talk about "other" people too...
The long You talk about them in a proper way.
Talking about someone means taking interest in him...

You're already dead
if people do not talk any more about You.
