yes.
our families split us up.
only to reunit much later in life, both of
us had families at the time. And i think it was really for some closure, he was 42 and died a few months later of a heart attack.
I miss him,but understand it would have never worked out for us to be together. we were to different.
I did ok in my life, and for that I am so glad, things worked out the way they did.
I hope your life will send you down the right path too. Nothing happens by chance! there is always a reason, even if we dont see it at the time.

Sometimes you love a person and realize that situation doesn't allow both of you to be together, and yes it hurts alot, been there done that. But we can't help it either. We always falls in love with someone first and only analyze the situation later on. We can't analyze someone first then decide to fall in love with them or not.
That's just the way life is and as far as I can tell, it doesn't gets any easier each time. At least not for me. The feeling just sucks.

Yes, we have been apart now for 10 months. We went out recently because we are good friends. While together it becomes too emotionally draining. We both know deep down that we could never be together again.

Yes I was in love with a girl who lived just across the street from me , sadly her parents gave her a lot of grief because they didn't approve of me . She had a twin sister who loved me also and I chose one of them . I believe their domineering parents practically arranged both of their marriages , they even sold their car dealership and moved away to keep us apart . I have no idea what brought on the animosity of her parents , I think it was because they wanted her to marry into a rich family actually and that left me out . All worked out well for me since though and I've happily moved on and am content now .

Yes. He decided to leave me for another woman and they had a baby together. I wouldn't take him back if he was the only man on this planet. He's not worth my time anymore, though he was everything to me once...

Oh yeah. We met each other a bit too late and there are some uncontrollable circumstances that will prevent us from being together....It's sad but we have accepted it.
