Track your cycles and your "fertility signs". cerivcal mucus and basal body temperature. I will list some websites that will help. You can also use the ovulation predictor sticks. Good Luck. Baby dust! You can also get other information on these by just searching it on the internet.

Buying OPKs is what worked for me to figure out ovulation. But you might want to talk to your doctor about giving you something to help regulate your periods because with irregular it can make it difficult and you may not ovulate regular as well. There is an herb called Vitex/Chasteberry that is suppose to regulate periods, ovulation and also cut down on cramping. My friend has really good luck with it and I started taking it about 2 weeks ago. You can buy it at GNC or Vitamin World for about $10 for 100 capsules. You could give your doctor a call about that too. Good luck to you and lots of baby dust~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is lots of great info about Vitex/Chasteberry online as well.

I have irregular periods roo and use ovulation predictor strips, which tell you about 24 hours prior to ovulation. I start off having sex every other day and when I get a positive I have sex 3 days in a row.

You can't - you may not be ovulating at all. You need to see a gynecologist and find out the reason for your periods being irregular.

You could try taking your temperature every morning and look for the variance / fluctuation.

Also, there are some very reliable "saliva tests" you can get that are reusable over the counter at drug stores. You spit on the slide each morning, wait 5 minutes, and depending on the slide, it will show if you are ovulating or not!

GOOD LUCK
