Here are some of my suggestions:
Ada
Ava
Alvilde
Astrid
I can't in good conscience recommend them, but I guess Apricot, Apple, Azalea could all be considered names now. I'm just not a fan of non-names for children.

Well keep in mind that just cause your a hippy doesn't mean she will be when she's grown.
You've gotten some lovely suggestions!
Autumn
Anessa (like Vanessa without the V)
April
Ashlynn
Astoria
Annalise
Alyssa
Aileen
Aiden (can be boy or girl)
Alica
Austin
Aubry (again with the french tree or a variation there of but sounds more feminine. Spelled this way most people would know its Awwwww - bree).
Astrid (very old name)
name her after your favorite place that starts with an A or where she was conceived if that starts with an A.

Autumn is good... how about Ashlynn (tree name Ash) or Alderlynn (tree name Alder)? Is that a stupid suggestion? I think they sound pretty. I do love the name Ava too. How about Arbre? It's french for tree.
Good Luck!!!
