I was wondering how it works at reastaurants? When someone orders Lasanga, or something like that, do they cook a whole lasagna, or one piece? Or do they cook a whole one in the morning, and than reheat it as it gets ordered? And at the end of the day, do they throw all the leftover food away, or save it for the next day?

I worked at Johnny Carinos for a while and most of their food is made to order just for you, however their lasagna is made in big pans in the morning and just cut out for you when you order it. That is also what they do with their tiramisu dessert. and at the end of the day they are supossed to throw it out but sometimes we got some of the leftovers :) and no they will never save it for the next day.
