Nope. I respected him as President but as a man I have no respect for him at all.

Well, I don't know him as a person, but he was a great president, and yes, I do respect him as a person.
Now, I could never respect George W. Bush, who lies every time he opens his mouth, has caused the deaths of over 3,500 Americans, and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, was too much of a coward to ever actually serve his time in the military, won't admit to his coke-filled days, is destroying the ecology, screwed up the ecomomy, made our country less safe, made most of the world hate us, turned a surplus into a record deficit, is the most corrupt president ever, attacked the wrong country, is too scared to go after Bin Laden after promising all of America that he would get him "dead or alive", and has never done one good thing for this country.
He is a waste of air.

Matt you are a troll. I like how you love to put this out there when we still have Bush as the President. Do you respect him as a person. While running (rather ruining) the country he has broken the record for the most time on vacation of any president. Before president he has had affairs, of course none can be proven because all the women that accused him or spoke out are dead. He has been arrested more than once for drunk driving. He has been a known drug user.
Remember, Bill Clinton is no longer President. And even with what you listed he was still ten times the President Bush has been. And by the way, bombing factories and known terrorist camps is not standing up to terrorists that attacked us? And hey that cost the price of the missles and some gas. Pretty cheap compared to Bush's way of dealing with terrorists. You know invading countries that had nothing to do with the attacks, and then failing totally on actually getting the person that is said to be responsible. Hmmm barking up the wrong tree here Matt you troll.

Yes, I do respect Bill Clinton as a person.
Yes, he might have lied under oath. But he lied about a *******. He lied about sex. A subject that's very personal and usually kept between someone and their partner. And it does take two to tango. Don't blame Bill for all of it when Monica was equally responsible.
But he was and still is a better President than Bush will ever be. During his administration, there was a budget and it was balanced. The economy was good. We had more allies than enemies. And we had a President who at least knew what the hell he was talking about.
So, yes. I do think he's a good person. I do respect him. I respect Hillary more and hope she gets the Presidency in 2008. The Clintons are good people, despite what the Conservative media has made them out to be.

I have no respect for Clinton. He may be a private citizen right now, but he is an ex-president who still plays a large political role. He cheated on his wife. He embarrassed our nation and the office he held. He was almost impeached and he pardoned many prisoners just before leaving office. I do have to say he was a good speech giver. But, that caused problems as well since he was able to make people think the country was doing just fine. This, when al qaeda was planning the WTC attacks.

Absolutely. His error is personal. He fought terrorists, he warned Bush but was ignored. Everyone of the terrorists in WTC I is locked up. Many more Americans have been killed by terrorists while Bush has been in office.
Your pathological hatred is amazing. President Clinton has traveled the world using his VAST international reputation for good.
Bush has taken this country and politicized everything. He will be remembered as a dangerous fool. Clinton will be remembered as sexually indiscreet.

I have never met bill clinton personally, and because of this, I neither respect, nor disrespect him. As a president of this country, he did an exemplary job. When he left his office, this country had many millions of dollars surplus in the treasury. He is articulate, intelligent, a sex addict, an incredible negotiator, and kept this country out of war. He was sensitive to the reality that the poor in our nation needed educational opportunities which would provide them knowledge and/or training in industrial arts. This training provided them a marketable skill, and qualified them as desirable applicants for positions requesting knowledge necessary to perform those duties.
As for his extramarital sexual activities, he did nothing 85 % of our male population doesn't do.
I doubt he had sexual intercourse with monica, but I believe he had what can be considered sexual encounters with many women, including her. Hilliary is aware of his activity, but dismissed it because it never was a threat to their marriage. My question to you is: Do you use military conflicts between our country and any other country as the independent variable which qualifies a person to be neither a coward, or human being. You sound like a presbyterian republican to me.

Do I respect him as a person??? That's a hard question... I think he was a good leader for your country, but I think he's a terrible husband (And any woman I respect would have kicked his cheating *** to the curb)...

Although I have respect for the Presidency, I lost respect for Bill, years ago when he lied under oath.
Yeah, he's still a human being although, he falls into a class that doesn't deserve being held in such high esteem.

Morally I have no respect for him, but as far as President he did an outstanding job. I think that is what is disappointing. Clinton is very bright and a great politican. He could have been the greatest president of alltime but his moral issues hurt him. He does do a lot of great humanitarian works though, so I give him some credit.
