Since you answer your own question and even admit the premise for the question is wrong, I guess you're just being an idiot. But that's alright, we all do that once in a while.

What's more interesting is why you asked the question and I think its because your jealous of her success. She succeeded through hard work and inspiration, didn't do anything unethical that I know of, and is squeaky-clean. I'll bet you'd just love it if she'd sold it in the US first! What a great time you would have!

Oh well, maybe someday someone will dig up some dirt on her and we can all vent about it!

She didn't sell Harry Potter to them first...

Perhaps i don't understand your meaning... Explain a bit better please?

The book is getting released in every English speaking country at the same time... So in England that is... midnight... or 12:01... in Aus, it's 9:01... It all works out to be the same time!

And also... any selling is through her agents... So anything that she is selling is through them, and also due to who approached her first...

Are you talking about the theme park? America always gets the theme parks... So i don't know why that is such a surprise... I live in Australia...

I really can't type right now... i need to go to sleep... But yeah... usually i can type... Really!

**EDIT** I just went to her official site, just to clarify... It says "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be published on Saturday 21st July 2007 at 00:01 BST in the USA. It will also be released at 00:01 BST in other English speaking countries around the world" 00:01 BST = THE SAME TIME IN OTHER ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES!

I don't understand the question. It's my understanding that the book is coming out in all English speaking countries on July 21st. Naturally, those in the UK will get it before the USA because of the time difference. Australia may actually get it first.

What you are asking is that it be sold in the UK first. That is not considered fair, any more than if it was released in the US first. It will go out all over the world on July 21, 2007.

I thought that HP7 was releasing on the same day everywhere.

If anything, I thought that the UK got more interesting release parties over all. I know quite a few people over here in the US that are flying over to London for July 21st.

[Not because America is better] It's because America is BIGGER.

All English speaking countries get it at the same time.
Jk herself will be in London on the release [Not the U.S.A]

Simply put, for the profit. There are a lot more Harry Potter readers in the U.S. There are also a lot more chain bookstores. It's how she makes her living, and she is doing a fine job.
